With more than 350 participants and over 30 international speakers on stage, the 196+ forum Munich welcomed specialized investors, developers, real estate companies, hotel operators, consultants, architects, designers, start-ups and several other stakeholders to come together, exchange industry knowledge and upcoming trends on the topic "Everything stays different".
We would like to thank our moderators and speakers as well as all attendees for their active participation. The various conference sessions with valuable takeaways featured engaging panel discussions on the hotel development in Europe, project showcases by Lively, MM:NT and The Zipper Hotels & Apartments, inspirational Masterclasses on BIM, Revenue Management and Technology, as well as a CEO-interview with Martin Lachout, CEO Arcotel, and 3 Questions to Otto Lindner, Chairman of the Advisory Board of HospitalityX.
Highlight: The Hotel Property Award 2024
Established in 2002, the Hotel Property Award is considered one of the most prestigious annual European hospitality real estate awards. An independent jury nominates up to ten hotels and shortlists three finalists, which are presented at the 196+ forum Munich. The award ceremony and announcement of the winner takes place at the Gala Dinner at Hotel Bayerischer Hof Munich.
The Hotel Property Award 2024 received a total of 33 hotel submissions from 10 different European countries. Thanks to our jury, who had to face a tough selection, we were able to find this year’s Hotel Property Award finalists and winner. Congratulations to OLM Nature Escape, Campo Tures, Italy, Villa Viva Hamburg, Germany, and Luisenhöhe – Gesundheitsresort Schwarzwald, Horben, Germany!

Hospitality UPGRADE Award 2024
196+ forum Munich and Hospitality Pioneers are supporting young innovative start-ups from all over Europe in partnership with an industry partner.
The award appeals to innovative start-ups making a relevant contribution to current and future challenges of the hospitality industry, along the whole value chain from hotel development to hotel operations.
An advisory board selects up to five finalists from among all applicants to pitch against each other at 196+ forum Munich. The Award is presented at the end of the Conference day.
